Shankh Vati – Ayurvedic Classical Medicine:
Shankh Vati Indication: Useful in the curative treatment of digestion disorders like hyper-acidity, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, anorexia, dyspepsia, impaired digestion, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dysentery & flatulence, etc.
Each tablet of 300 mg. contains Kajjali (Black sulfide of mercury), Shudh Vatsanabha (Purified aconitum ferox)-14.20 mg. (each of the above ingredients), Marich (Piper nigrum), Shankh bhasma (Calcined Conch shell)-28.40 mg., (each of the above ingredients), Shunthi (Zingiber Officinalis), Sajjikshar (Sajjikshar), Shudh hing (Ferula foedita), Pippali (Piper longum), Saindhav lavan (Rock salt), Saurvarchal lavan (Black Salt), Vidd lavan (Rock salt) Samudra lavan (Seasalt), Navsadara (ammonium chloride)-23.70 mg. (each of the above ingredients) Bhavanarth dravya: Fresh lemon juice —Q.S. (for mardana).
1 to 2 tablets to be taken twice in a day with lukewarm water, lemon juice or as directed by the physician.
